As a request from my son, I've acquired all six of the Harry Potter audio books. I've been trying to find a way to put them on either a CD-R or a DVD-R. They are in MP3 format at this time. Their size varies, but the first is 166 MB and has a duration of 8:03:02. Any help in what types of Media or Software I need to get this job done would be greatly appreciated.

You can use Nero Burning rom from http://www.nero.com/

When you open it, select Audio CD and drag your MP3's into the window. You will see the space remaining of the CD at the bottom so you can fill up a CD up to 80 mins, then you'll need to burn another.

Hope this helps.

The 8 hour audio book is all one file or many many smaller ones ?

Burning to cd doesn't really work, cause you'll need like ten of em for each book. I've had this problem too, and found the best way, is just a portable mp3 player where I can keep the file in its mp3 format.

Thanks for all of your help. I think I'll just let him listen to them directly from the computer. Buying a 10 year old an MP3 player (talking from experience) is just a waste of money LOL... I'm sure he'd lose it in no time as he has everything else. I tried the Nero thing, but it was going to take 8 disks for just the first book and there are a total of 6 books which at guessing would take 32 disks.
