I'm listening to Marc Broussard - the album called Carencro. He has a different sound, sometimes bluesy, sometimes more of a pop sound. First heard of him on CMT when they played "Home"

Now because I love Iron Maiden, I am hoping that since this is a UK Metal Band with no equal that you fellow Brits love Maiden too.
There is a new tribute album called:
Numbers from the Beast and All-Star Tribute to Iron Maiden.
There are all top-name class acts from various HUGE metal bands of the 70s and 80s that perform Maiden's finest songs...
So right now I am listening to:
Iron Maiden's 2 Minutes to Midnight
Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple) Vocals
Ritchie Kotzen (Mr. Big/Poison) Guitar
Bob Gulick (Meatloaf) Guitar
Tony Franklin (The Firm) Bass
Chris Slade (AC/DC) Drums
And this is just one of the 11 tracks with all the huge names in metal performing my fav bands' hits.
Bliss.

One iTunes folder:
3067 songs, 8.5 days of continuous music, 11.39 GB of data and one little "Smart Shuffle" program.
Survey says?
Ticket To Ride - The Beatles
Seems Apple's smart shuffler is not so dumb after all...
EDIT: Note to self (since no one else is posting in this thread): so far, Smart Shuffle is doing exceptionally well...The Beatles, Silverchair, Enya, Drowning Pool.
I am sold. Period. This is a big improvement over the last iteration.
Self out.

Heard a beautiful new track from Massive Attack today called 'Live with Me' - I have read that it is from a soon to be released new album called 'Weather Underground'.
For anyone interested HERE (http://enjoyment.independent.co.uk/music/features/article351677.ece) is an interview with the two original members of the band in The Independent (yes get it quickly while it is free - after a couple of days they will put it into the 'pay-for' portfolio.)
