My first date with computing was in 1980, I went on the Internet in September 1995 (Yes, I remember that day, Netscapelike).

In the Netherlands I'm a member of several anti-spyware- and helperboards.
I went 'abroad' on a search for the in's and out's of ASAP, seeing more and more "ASAP-shields" at Dutch sites.

So, I was at Maddoktor2, stumbled on the "a square" freeware, started on trying it, looked for help, landed on Carma where "Smaug" directed me this way.

And as I saw another thread, I did choose my username because my son flies on one as a pilot at Transmile, Kuala Lumpur. (And yes, I'm proud. :D )

And as Carma, this board seems to be of the friendly kind.

Welcome to the group. We are a friendly bunch here and though we are a technical help site, we also like to have fun too.

Feel free to make yourself at home and poke around. If theres something you would like to know or see here, let us know.

Hi Hans, you know me as Smaug at CARMA :) Welcome to Experience Windows..... glad you made it here. You are right, this is a friendly place too.

Ask any technical questions you like here..... you'll get a good answer!

I just answer the phones. lol

My brother_in_law flies 737s too - for an absolutely terrible cheap airline that flies out of Stansted. Is your son based in KL all the time or is he in and out of Schiphol too?

@Micron: thanks, I'll be lurking around first, to find my way around. :)

@FisionChips: he did the First-Officer program at Tyler, Texas. At the time he was an instructor there,
9/11 blew away a lot of customers (and staff).
Tom survived but his FAA-licenses were not valid in Europe.

So yes, he is living and working in Kuala Lumpur now.
Transmile is a fast growing cargo airliner, mostly flying in Asia but working on expanding to Europe and the US.

Wish your brother-in law the best of luck (is he also on the B737-300?)

I think he flies the 737-800, walking cargo only.

I think I may have misunderstood your question about A2 at CARMA Hans...

is this related to your original enquiry? http://www.experiencewindows.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3346#3346
