My old sound blaster 16 cards been able to do this for years.
my c-media card does this.
Many onboard sound may or my not beable to do this. there are free and paid programs that will capture sound of on board or sound card ,and save as wave one or two paid ones rips to mp3.
Not looked into this lately.

I had a cd that would not let me rip it and installed macrovision trojin on my computer. Witch i killed in place latter.
But then used my gettoblaster to play it recorded as wav and rip it to mp3 after.

The macrovision trojin soft ware won,t install now because it see,s the crippled killed version on here.
This drm rootkits trojins etc are starting to peeve me!!!

I have all my cd,s ripped to mp3 on here along with 100+ casettes as mp3
along with many songs captured of satalight.

So sony and other Cor-pirationists hope you all continue to get sued!!
