Can anyone help me here!

I lost everything on my laptop so had to resinstall everything including internet. We're using Wanadoo Wireless and Talk so did everything it said on the CD:

http://help.orange.co.uk/documentDisplay.do?clusterName=DefaultCluster&preview=1&groupId=1&page=http://ESERVER_b15f0aab-3f8d-4930-bfc9-c152574bb29f.xhtml&docType=1006&resultType=5002&docProp=$solution_id&docPropValue=kb154

When I did the last bit to press 1 so it would recognise the adapter for Wireless, somehow it reinstalled all the old wanadoo settings on the main PC as well as on laptop from CD.

I can get connected - I get the 'maximum security' message on the laptop to say it's connected to Wanadoo (have entered WEP key and I get an IP to connect) but that's all... the computer claims it's connected but refuses to actually load any websites.

All I get is 'Page cannot be displayed' because it can't find the server.

Any ideas how I can get both PC and laptop to actually visit websites?

D :)

Hi Sirg1006,

sorry missed your post there.

You seem to be making a connection but not gaining access to your ISPs gateway.

Sounds as if your settings have changed since you first installed your service i.e. since you first installed using the disc and having to reinstall everything.

Did you make a note somewhere of your new information - i.e. did your password change?

If you aren't sure of this, your best recourse is probably to Wanadoo to get your settings details (and password reset) and they will be able to advise you on how to configure the system.

If you have further problems - do come back here and we will try and get you through the setup.
