After updating the Java Runtime to JRE 6 I noticed the updater ( jusched.exe ) running in task manager.

Can I safely disable this ? ( I usually watch for updates )

BTW, thanks for your list of services xpgeek, there were still a few in there that were not needed.

Yes you can disable its automatic check for updates. Its a useless process if you are a tech savy person that would read news of a new release on a tech news site anyway.
