Inspired by the HG Wells novel, the album features a compelling blend of prog rock and classical and literary influences, coupled with a spell-binding narration from Richard Burton and outstanding performances by some of the biggest artists of the 70s, including David Essex, Justin Hayward ( Forever Autumn, hmmm :) ), Phil Lynott and Julie Covington.
The enriched sound now has a clarity like you've never heard on War of the Worlds before. Sounds leap out at you, Ive even heard things on every track that seemed not to be there before, though some of the tracks are remixed like Spirit Of Man, its slightly different to the past releases.
I introduced xpgeek to this a while back, and he said it was good, who else has heard and likes this?
If you do, get the remastered version today, you wont be dissapointed
